Child Care Resource & Referral Services

Program Description

The CCR&R Program provides a directory of child care resources and referrals to families needing child care services, regardless of income or age. If you are searching for child care in Cumberland or Salem County contact your local Child Care Resource & Referral office.
The program also provides training opportunities and assistance to child care providers, as well as information for prospective child care providers while working to increase public awareness of child care issues.

The Child Care Resource and Referral Coordinator sends out questionnaires periodically to Family Child Care providers and Licensed Child Care Centers to keep referral information updated. It is very important to us, that when giving families referrals, we are providing them with accurate information. If you would like to be added to our referral database please contact Quality Care Resource and Referral Service Inc. or visit our office.

Accreditation
Accreditation is beneficial to a child care program. It is a way of measuring a program and its’ performance. Family Child Care Providers (FCC), License Child Care Centers, and School-Age Child Care programs (SACC) can become accredited; however they must meet certain standards. Programs that obtain accreditation offer parents/families high-quality child care while providing children with age appropriate activities and experiences that will help with their growth and development, while also preparing them for school.
